Combat

Every character in Kusunoki Samurai will have a different class when it comes to combat style. Each character will have two combat modes to battle from that are composed of different skill sets. Combat styles present strengths and weaknesses against certain players and enemies. Depending on the fight at stake, each character will have foes they excel at fighting. The choice of weapons, armour, accessories, and item’s rarity along with the player’s level, skill and playstyle will also affect combat. Reflecting, the damage the player will inflict and receive.

The weapons and armour equipped will also make a difference in how well each character performs. For instance, the heavier the armour set, the slower the character will be as well as better defensively, while lighter armour sets will allow the player to have greater agility and speed. Though prone to more damage if struck. This will also apply to certain weapons. Heavier weapons will be slower when attacking and inflict greater damage. Whereas lighter weapons, will cause less damage at a faster rate. As combat is engaged more frequently, weapons and armour will sustain damage over time. They will eventually need to be repaired at the relevant shops for their full performance and attributes to be restored.

Samurai Clans

In the world of Kusunoki Samurai the player will be able to team up with other players to form samurai clans. Each clan will be customizable from visuals to ranks. Organize your clan and prepare them for battle to compete in the various player vs. player modes and in the open world to become the most respected samurai clan in Kusunoki Samurai.

Duel Mode

Duel with other players and be rewarded. Players competing in duels will increase their rank, earn various rewards, and increase the value of their non-fungible token character. Unwanted circumstances can arise while playing this mode, as other clans in Kusunoki Samurai’s open world make it possible for duelling rivalries to turn into heated clashes that could threaten one’s very existence.

War Mode

Clans have the ability to initiate war mode and battle other clans for territory control, rewards and much more. The mode will contain player vs. player matches that will have a minimum five players on each side from the rival clans. Character builds, playstyle and communication are the key to success in this mode.

A Challenge for All

The game is designed to be challenging, and it is recommended that players take their time to learn the gameplay mechanics and familiarize themselves with the world. However, even with a basic understanding of the game, players should be able to find a comfortable level of challenge. Kusunoki Samurai rewards those who take their time and experiment with different strategies as there is no right or wrong way to play. Whether it is through playing the story or battling against other online players, there is a challenge for all to experience.
